봉봉사중창단 - Bong Bong (Bon Bon) / Bong Bong Quartet Band
Described by the traders where I found the album as sounding like Everly Brothers, this is a rather special 60s psych-pop (mostly cover) album (sung in Korean), especially because of its happy, sunshine-esque and often humoristic (if not at times slightly grotesque) approach in the vocal harmonies, including the usual pompompoms. Also the lush orchestrations to it are really attractive. A few tracks have nice fuzz guitar. A worthy album to trace ! 봉봉사중창단 – 봉봉 스테레오 앨범 Sung Eu

바블껌 - Bubble Gum
This is a rather nice reissue of acoustic songs with harmony vocals. The first six tracks have orchestrations too. Especially the first track is well worked out with nice melodic strings and string plucks, and some flute. On the second track we hear a trumpet solo, on the sixth track some additional clarinet. The guitars, mostly two acoustic guitars, are mostly used to play happy rhythms. The vocal harmonies, even when the male or female singer is leading are done very well.

방의경 - Bang Eui-Kyeong
The first copy I had was in bad shape, so I airplayed only one track of it. Folkie Jin comment: "This album is Ultra rare and the highest price record in Korean folk records. Normal price is over 2000 $!! Every Korean folk collectors wanting killer item!! Although it has a normal female S/SW sound it has very fragile and deep feeling female voice and it gives nostalgia towards the 70s to Korean old music fans." 백년설 - Baek Nyeon-Seol
유성기로 듣던 불멸의 명가수 - 백년설 편 Having read about the limited range of recorded music and styles that was allowed during Japanese occupation, leading today to the remark that most people in South Korea regard music from the 30s for old people only, I found it a bit disrespectful towards all those talented, gifted and distinctive singers and musicians/combos and therefore I decided to thoroughly investigate what was made possible in those years, not only in Korea but also in Japan and

Tracks with * I consider essential listens or classics, also very suitable for western radioshow airplay. Tracks that are only underlined
