Kim Choo-Ja

Psychefolk Radio show comments: "60’s psychpop. The recording was done directly from vinyl. From the 7th to 10th track are with male voice. The 8th track is more psychedelic, with great guitar and psych organ in late 60's psych pop style."

Folkie Jin : "Kim Chu-Ja/Shin Jung-Hyun songs collection 1969 ; Kim Chu-Ja is a another korean pop star and debuted with support of Shin Jung-hyun. This record is a her debut album. Musical performance by Donkeys of Shin Jung-Hyun. I think that this record Donkeys play style similar to early Jefferson airplane. Especially side B 2 song is a unique koreanized psychedelic song!! Side A songs are a little pop style but Side B songs are very good psychedelic style!! Recommendable !!"

Kim Soo-ja's debut album. At the end of the 1960s, there was a discreet sound in South Korea at the beginning of Progressive Rock, with Jimmy Hendrix's Psychedelic Rock in the United States and Moody Blues and the London Symphony Orchestra. Restoring the sound and artwork from early 1969, this album is the pinnacle of the sound of Shin Jung Hyun.

Kim Choo Ja was one of the singers who had participated with Shin Jung-Hyun and his bands. This is an over 72 minute 1987 compilation of various albums. Of course several tracks come from that period or are related with it, and different versions of this period are also added. I like the slow organ contributions on some of such tracks. Not all of it is of similar quality and the songs also tend to entertain rather than express something deeper, but as a cheap compilation, like Korea Guide says, it is, despite little surprises and its tendency to go to kitschier areas, still ok enough for checking out. But don't forget to check out KimJung Mi and Pearl Sisters first.

Korea Guide : "Recently I ran across a Kim Choo-ja retrospective called Kim Choo-ja Best 20 (Yejeon Media). It originally came out in 1987 and features 20 songs (no surprise there). Although the sound quality is not always the best, the songs are a pretty interesting range (like Kim’s versions of “Geojitmaliya” and “Aniya,” which I had not heard before). It also includes a complete lyrics sheet (good for practicing my Korean). Best of all, the album was less than $10. Totally worth it."

About "Kim Choo Ja – Why Doesn’t He Come?/Is It Real?" (1973)

"Kim Choo Ja enjoyed a very successful career in Korean music after bursting onto the scene in the late 1960s, musically she was associated with Shin Jung Hyun on her earlier LPs but this LP is slightly after that. Although much of this album has a more gentle & orchestrated feel there is enough lo-fi/garagey production values to keep things enjoyable. The drum sound especially is extremely ghetto & sounds like the drummer was recorded through a tunnel in an adjacent building. For me there are three really strong tracks on this LP, so check them out."

Hey Jude - Wandering in the Rain - Kim Sang Sa returns from Vietnam

In June 1978, the revival of Kim Chu-ja, the Korean theater, was a historical performance that attracted a total of 30,000 people. In the show, where Lee Jong-hwan took charge of the society, Shin Ji-hyun and Yeopjeon, Cho Yong-pil and Shadow, Choi Heon, and Cho Kyung-soo were guests. I wanted to show my power. The live album that was re-released this time is the performance of the 1978 Korean Theater Replay. In particular, this album is the only record with live texture unlike Kim Chu-ja's other two-retail albums. The songs includes hit songs by famous composers Kim Choo-za, including Shin Joo-hyun, Lee Bong-jo, and Kim Hee-gap. The album was actually released in 1980, two years after the show. It is interesting to hear Lee Jong-hwan's voice as a young man who recently passed away. The rereleased album, which was re-lit after 35 years, remastered and added some of the missing sources in the original album.

I usually highly regard these officially re-mastered Mini-lps’s from Beatball, but this album still keeps me puzzled what to think of it. This singer Kim Choo-Ja has a good rocking voice and band. It is a live document, which shows a good perspective on a concert of those days. The music however still is a bit more entertainment pop (with an additional brass band too) than alternative or inspired rock. The whole album is like a well prepared and arranged medley of pop/rock songs.

As a bonus the last part of the concert is included as a large “Encore”, which more sound like a larger rock improvisation, a track of nearly 17 minutes of which the voice cannot be hear well, but the more progressive and wilder jamming rock band is completely on the front. Here you can hear a bluesy electric guitar solo first leading the groove more, then the incorporation of a rocking part from “Hey Jude” from Beatles. From then onwards the brass band can be heard too, and the full band ends with playing together some marching part ending. This whole bit of 5 minutes wasn’t the full ending yet. You can still hear the full band playing further again with an enjoyable medley and improvisation (rock and brass band and some backing choir), not in a perfect but still enjoyable mix.

http://lightintheattic.net/releases/2400-78-recital :

"Its pop-psychedelic beginning, the encounter with the Soul and its variations, the Latin accent, their romantic-modern versions of Trots and even a medley from the aforementioned ‘Recital 78’, with several successes, such as ‘Sgt. Kim’, ‘Regret’, ‘Rumour’, and even a version from ‘Ani Holem al Naomi’, single that sold more than 1 million copies in 70s Japan, from the Israeli duo Hedva and David!

We would be unfair to Choo-Ja, if we just label her as an exclusively psych-folk singer, such as Kim Jung Mi was. What we see here are Big Bands and their orchestrations, Brass Funk-Soul, Psych, Rock, Trots, Ballads and a familiar Korean tendency to put a few spoons of sugar into the romanticism: ‘Nangman’!"

BIOGRAPHIES:

From Wikipedia: "She was born on January 2, 1951,in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do as the youngest of five girls. She graduated from Chuncheon Girls' High School. In high school, she was a cheerleader, badminton and gymnast in Gangwon-do. In the Chuncheon Local Festival, she won the third place by singing the traditional, `` The Depth Street. '' In 1969 he entered the Department of Theater and Film at Dongguk University and graduated in 1973.

She won the first prize at the freshman song of university, and went to the recording studio of Shin Yung Hyun that year. Shin Ji-hyun listened to Kim Chu-ja's singing and immediately produced a song for it. Her debut album was released in 1969. Kim Chu-Ja, which combines singing and sexy dance, became very popular in the 1970s. In 1971. She made his film debut as a cameo in the film Paldogangsan Tomorrow-Part 3. Soyun-seok, a manager refused to be courted, was injured by a broken soju bottle.

Kim Chu-ja's music was mostly composed by Shin, Shin-Hyun, in the Korean rock style pursued by Shin-Hyun. Like the psychedelic rock, it was a mix of Korean elements with modern music that distinguished it from the trendy trot. For example, if you listen to your debut song <Before Late>, it will be like soul at first, but the pansori method was introduced in it too, in the second half.

In the two years since her debut (1969-1971), 12 more albums were produced, and many have since been re-released.

1st Album 1969, Before Late (All 10 Songs) Theme song t`` You're Far Away '' was made into a drama theme song of the same name aired on Tong Yang TV in 1970, and was again used in a movie of the same name released in 2008. In 1969, Before Before Late and Kim Sang-sa Returned from Vietnam, a film was produced in 1971 with the same title."

In 1969, Kim Chu-ja went up to Seoul from Chuncheon to enter university. This young girl, who has been a group leader since childhood and has a knack for dancing and singing, goes to the singing contest for college freshmen and takes first place. With this intention to gain confidence and unconditionally become a singer, she visits Shin Ji Hyun without any thoughts around Pinzan. Shin Shin-hyun said, “The feeling of being wrapped around my body was thrilled. But I didn't express my feelings of teaching humility first. ” It was the beginning of practice from that day. Less than a month later, however, she received the scores of “Before Late” and “Kim Sang-sa Returned from Vietnam,” and finally released her first album in the fall of 1969.

The front side of the LP, which was named <Shin Joo-hyun Compositions>, was Kim Chu-za, but the back sides were occupied by singers Seo Yu-seok and Kim Sun-sun. Her full popularity came from another place next spring. 'Ne's Far Away', which was used as the theme song of the soap opera, burst with the drama. At the time, the various physiques with a stiff physique, the sensitive musicality backed by Shin Ji-hyun's intense guitar, abundant volume, and voluminous sound made her the best singer. As a result, she won several rookie awards and the best female singer award on TBC.

She proved her popularity in 1971 by releasing Golden Hit Album, the first Korean-language album to be printed with English 'Petals' and 'Lies' in English. In the dark realities of the military dictatorship, he creates a whirlwind with 'truth' in the music industry, which has spent years with trot and grave music. Her sex appeal, but rather husky tone and bursting body, shook the country that has yet to break up in Confucian quilts. But this girl, who was cheerful and unfamiliar with this girl, has yet to wake up from her widow.

When the country suffered from the Red Complex, such as her voluptuous gestures are a signal to a spy, she is assaulted by a member of the thug who was looking at the manager. The face, which had been injured to an unknown shape, had to undergo three facial reconstructive surgeries, and she struggled to perform the concert before, but suffered from phobia for about a year. Since then, she has released songs such as 'Why Not,' 'Can You Do It', 'Uninhabited Island', etc., and continues to be popular with her recital in 1974.

However, in April 1975, with the release of the 9th Emergency Measure, K-pop, all her songs were tied to banned songs, and they were sentenced to ban singer activities along with Shin Ji-hyun, Lee Jang-hee, and Yoon Hyung-joo. It was alleged that he possessed cannabis, which was fashionable to the singers at the time.

After several attempts to recover, she failed to dive with her marriage in 1981, then appeared in a single show on a 1986 television show and then went back to the surface.

In 2001, she was looking for new activities. Although the contract breach caused noise with the contractor, he is re-exercising, dancing, and practicing vocalizations with the stability of family life. I accepted the planner's request and decided to release a new album, and it was agreed to receive songs from Shin Ji-hyun, Ha Kwang-hoon and Kim Hee-gap. It is a new album that will contain one or two remake songs.

A series album that proves Kim Chuja's prime

From her debut in 1969 to the ban on activities in 1975, Kim Chu-ja's actions never escaped public attention. Although she was the protagonist of a series of scandals that stimulated her interest, she was the protagonist of a series of scandals beyond imagination. Kim Chu-ja, who emerged as a key singer of Shin Shin-hyun's division at a glance, was also spotlighted as a box office check that enriched the sales slip of King Records, who produced her early albums.

She has been soaring to the box office hit blue chip in the music record market since 1970, she was decorated with the cover model of almost every compilation album she produced by King Records. The albums covered with photos of her, who was one of the top popular singers of King Records at the time, were sold like wings unconditionally regardless of their musical perfection.

On November 10, 1970, an album that fits the status of Kim Chu-ja was planned. It is a series of “Kim Chuja Stereo Hit Album” re-released in the original LP format after more than half a century in 51 years. At the time when compilation albums containing hits by several singers were popular, the production of a series of solo albums tells how great the popularity and marketability of Kim Chuja was at the time. Proving the heyday of her Kim Chu-ja, three of the series were produced from 1970 to 1971.

The beginning and the second, which are not easy to distinguish

Various versions of the albums in this series, which were sold scaryly to be displayed on the shelves of commercial record stores, all coexist. This tells us that all the albums in this series have been re-released several times. The starting point of the series, “Kim Chuja Stereo Heat Album No.1,” has two versions that differ in design from the photo of Kim Chuja decorated with the cover. The two versions have the same blue label, release date, and title song, so it is not easy to distinguish between the beginning and the second.

At the beginning, it is presumed that the cover-in version is a photograph of Kim Chu-ja standing somewhat with his hands together on a yellow background. The pink one-piece dress Kim Chuja wore has been used in such a way that even after it was released on this album, several photos taken from different angles were found in her various album jackets and article materials. The version designed with a picture of a two-piece costume and dancing cheerfully is presumed to be Jaeban. This is because the early stage of using a picture that stands flat without impact is likely to have been replaced by a dancing picture with a bright image after the hit of this album. This re-release version was chosen as a reissue cover with a clear visual effect.

Songs of ready-made composers, not Shin Jung-hyun

For both the first and second half, the track order of the 10 songs included is the same. On the back of the album, singer-songwriter Cho Gyu-chan's father, “Rahwarang Composer's Hit House,” was written, but the new song is one [Girl's Day], and all are close to remake albums that sang hit songs of established singers again. Before this album, this album has a special meaning in that, for the first time, she sang only songs by other established composers other than Shin Jung-hyun for the first time.

The album's arranger, Rahwarang's songs are title songs Kim Jung-ae's [Nilly Mambo], Lee Mi-ja's [Let's call me Nim], [Jung Dong Daegam], [19 Pure Love], Kim Sang-hee's [Ulsan Big Baby], and Song Min-do's original singer. A total of 7 songs were included, including [The Blooming Village] and [For some reason]. In all versions, [the blooming heart] is an incorrect notation for [the blooming village]. The other songs [Mokpo's Tears] and Kim Bu-hae's [Daejeon 0:50] are all hit songs released during the meteorological period.

Performance by an existing band, not Shin Jung-hyun's band

The performance of this album is performed by an existing orchestra rather than Shin Jung-hyun's band, and the texture of the trot song is strong. In her first song [Nilily Mambo], which is her original hit singer Kim Jung-ae, Kim Chu-ja shows off her rosy and rhythmic singing, suggesting that this album will unfold in a different texture from her before her.

In Mija Lee's hit songs [Because I'm Calling You], [Jungdong Daegam], and [Nineteen Soonjung], Kim Choo-ja used her own trot style with her own voice, sometimes with a voice of constituents, sometimes full of charm. In [Tears of Mokpo] by Lee Nan-young, the most popular singer during the Japanese colonial period, it can't go beyond the original, which told the extreme of sorrow, but it conveys a friendly atmosphere with a feeling of sadness. The blues queen Ahn Jung Aega's original song [0:50 from Daejeon] tells of her calm singing skills, and in the big hit song [Ulsan Big Baby] by Kim Sang-hee, who was a singer of Shin Jung-hyun, the song is comparable to that of the original song. The ending song, Song Min-do's [For some reason] is the hidden song of this album, where you can experience Kim Chu-ja's false voice.

A new challenge for vocalist Kim Chuja

The fact that the first piece of the series was selected as hit songs by popular singers rather than new ones suggests that this album is a special album with commerciality in mind rather than musicality. However, this album has a meaning as an attempt to become a popul

ar vocalist for Kim Chuja in that it has digested the classic trot songs from the rock music of Shin Jung-hyun, which was preferred by the younger generation of the time. After this album, Chuja Kim has acquired the possibility of expanding her fandom loved beyond generations.

The album “Kim Chuja Stereo Heat Album NO.1” was released in 1974 in 3rd half.

The first album produced in 1970 and the cover was replaced with a picture of Kim Chu-ja wearing a different hanbok, and the title was changed to “An Old Song to Sing Again,” so it may be misunderstood as a different album. However, only two songs from Choi Sok-ja's hit song [The Yeonpyeong of Tears] were added along with Park Shin-ja's representative song [Dances's Purity] included in the second album of the series, but most of the songs are actually the same as the beginning. This album, which tried to transform Kim Chuja into the public, has become a rare album that cannot be easily met anymore.

Koreans who like drinking and dancing are the Heungbuja people who dance with songs and dances since ancient times when they are happy. If the 60s was the era of twist, then the 70s was an archaeological craze. In the 80s, the disco craze hit. Various dances that were popular in each era have been spread by dance singers who have excellent dance and singing skills from the past to the present.

Kim Chu-ja, who enjoyed a period with excellent singing skills, changed the constitution of the music industry with an unrivaled stage accompanied by splendid costumes and dances. She was an unusual female dance singer at the time, and Kim Chuja was also an issue maker who stimulated public interest through various incidents. She was reluctant to reveal, and the society at the time, which was static, heated up in an instant with her appearance. Her passionate stage was unprecedented. In the early 1970s, men were hazy because of the tight clothes that revealed their bursting body without filtering and the glamorous and enchanting dance of Kim Chu-ja.

Even before Kim Chuja, female dance singers existed. There was a female dance singer named Miss K (or Monroe K) on the stage of the 8th US Army in the late 1950s. She is a legendary female dance singer who is said to have captivated the American soldiers with her unconventional stage manners lying on the stage and dancing and singing. She did, but before she made it to the general stage she left her retirement after marrying an U.S. military officer, leaving her as an unknown singer who was completely unknown to the general public. Lee Geum-hee, who was officially imprinted as the first dance singer, brought her perception to the music industry, where she sang in a floating position with her husky vocals and hot dance moves.

Since then, the genealogy of her female dance singer has been followed by Kim Chu-ja, who appeared after the Pearl Sisters, Shin Shin-hyun division. In addition to her original dance, Kim Chu-ja was unique in her singing skills. She showed off her unconventional costumes and choreography that differed in concept for each song, and she was so sexy that she couldn't be inferior to her current female dances. Her middle-aged men who remember her fantastic performance of Kim Chu-ja still remember her as the sexiest female singer in the history of her pop song. Her female singer, who fixed the eyes and ears of her whole nation to herself, had no origin at her time.

At the 1970 MBC's Top 10 Singer Awards, Kim Chu-ja won the New Female Singer Award. Since then, the equation of'Kim Chuja = Shin Joonghyun' has been established, but in fact, in addition to Shin Joong-hyun, she is a talent that is difficult to control by crossing various genres such as trot, folk song, and song with top composers of the time such as Kim Bu-hae, Kim Hee-gap, Jeon Woo-jung, Rahwarang, Kim Kang-seop, and Ahn Gil-woong. And showed off talent. After her debut in 1969, Kim Chu-ja, who acquired the nickname “Dynamite,” due to her passionate singing and dancing for two years until 1971, was active in releasing a whopping 10 albums. Discovering her name for the singer awards presented by each newspaper broadcast has become a routine. However, due to her schedule punk and her unpredictable activities, which had frequent hidden accidents, a negative perspective called'Cloudy Kim Chu-ja' also coexisted.

In January 1971, Kim Chu-ja made a special appearance in the national film "Tomorrow's Paldogangsan 3" by Kang Dae-cheol, along with popular singers Patty Kim, Lee Mi-ja, Na Hoon-ah, Bong-Bong-sa troupe, and The Pulse Sisters. This film is the only film in which you can see the appearance of Kim Chu-ja in her early debut, dancing and singing with her cute appearance in her color video. It is a movie that imprinted Kim Chu-ja as her attractive dance singer to the public at the time. She released her Kim Chu-Ja's <Lie>, which she released in the same year, is a dance song she loved across both men and women of all ages. Kim Chuja's unique gesture when she sang this song, which recorded her enormous hit, became a hot topic, even circulating an absurd rumor of "sending a password with North Korea."

For King Park, the president of King Records, Kim Chu-ja was one of the top singers with no comparison. The fact that Kim Chu-ja took over the cover models of her various compilation albums he produced proves her powerful brand power. Released on October 25, 1971 under the title of “Kim Choo-ja de Rex Album,” this album is a group of albums featuring her dancing Kim Choo-ja. The bold editing of the cute pictures of dancing Kim Chu-ja was unconventional at the time. As a result, the album was re-released in 1972, the following year.

Among the 10 songs included, 8 of the songs excluding the adjunct songs <Good Night Baby> and Ahn Gil-woong's <The Blunt Person> are the original songs by Shin Sin-Hyeon. The performance was performed by Shin Jung-hyun Band Questions. The first song <You Fool> opens the door of the album with a cheerful beat and rhythm that fits the cover image. This song was first released by Questions' guest singers Song Man-soo and Lim Seong-hoon in 1970, but was hit by Kim Chu-ja. <Good Night Baby> was sung by Lee Jung-hwa, a female vocalist from Dunkiss in 1969, and <Spring Rain>, <Heart>, and <Petal> were sung in 1969. Kim Chu-ja's <Spring Rain> and <Flower Leaf> were first recorded in the 1970 drama Mabu compilation album and became widely known. <Heart> first appeared on this album.

The first song <I'm Rumored>, which brings the B side to a cheerful atmosphere, <Old Miss>, where a sense of beat tickles your ears, and <Seasonal Love>, which connects the atmosphere, are new songs that were first released through this album. <The Blunt Person> and <The Foster Daughter> were released a month earlier than this album, but they are not well-known songs. Although this album is a solo collection of Kim Chuja, it is difficult to say that her new songs are only three, and most of the songs that have already been released are re-recorded, and the musical completion is high in one point. However, the unconventional cover design focused on the image of dance singer Kim Chuja and some songs with beats aroused the interest of the contemporary public, and the planning power that led to commercial success was fresh.

In the re-released LP market, which was released mainly for solo albums, which are evaluated as alums, compilation albums containing hits and masterpieces of several singers are receiving a new spotlight. In fact, compilation albums, such as a comprehensive gift set, were regarded as a blue chip that guaranteed a hit even in the 60s and 70s. At that time, it was a time when box office success was prioritized over solo works where singers and musicians had priority, so the theory of compilation albums was a natural phenomenon.

The model decorating the cover of the compilation album served as a kind of face madam. So, it was a kind of formula to decorate with photos of singers most favored by the public of the day among singers containing songs. King Park, president of King Records, said the choice of cover model was always concentrated in Kim Chu-Ja. Since its appearance, it has been a news maker whose excellent singing skills, sexy looks, and every step of the way have been a hot topic, so there would be no hesitation in choosing. The LP, which Kim Chu-ja decorated the cover model, is still a collector's item that collectors prefer.

This album, which was re-released in the original LP format in half a century, was also a hot compilation album that was sold at great popularity when it was released in 1971. A total of 4 popular singer songs were included, but what contributed firmly to the success of the album was the jacket cover photo, which was more unusual at the time than the song. This album's cover was decorated with Kim Chu-ja's cute appearance, as well as the provocative pose with her unmatched legs wide open, which imprinted Kim Chu-ja as a sexy icon of the 70s. In fact, the cover photo of this album is said to be the sexiest image among the albums released by Kim Chu-ja.

The song that opens the door of the album is Kim Chuja's <Good Night Baby>, which decorated the cover. A total of three songs by Kim Chu-ja were included, but Shin Shin-hyun’s song is only one song from <The foster daughter>. The title song <Good Night Baby>, which was first released through this album, was written by composer Kang-seop Kim, and <The Blunt Person> was written by Ahn Ki-woong. In this album, <Good Night Baby> was marked as Kim Kang-seop's original song, but it was postponed due to the fact that the English'Good Night Baby' was specified on the cover and the fact that it was marked as an arranger rather than a composer in the'Kim Chuja Drex Album' released a month later. It is likely to be. When I searched YouTube, it seems to be the original song by The King Tones, a male quarrel in Japan in the 60s. There are other versions of this song sung by Won Se-Hwi in 1973. Anyway, the composition of the songs alone tells us that at the time this album was released, Kim Chu-ja began to widen the radius of her music through work with various composers outside the fence of Shin Sin-Hyun Division.

Janghyun, who appeared after him, was the most popular singer representing the Shin Junghyun Division along with Kim Chuja. Jang Hyun's <Please Wait>, <No News is Good News>, and <A Woman in the Mist> were all songs that received good responses from his debut album released in 1970, a year earlier. He was remembered as an excellent low-pitched singer who digested Shin Jung-hyun's ever-changing rock music with his own vocal style, who used a slow soul-style singing technique. However, just like Shin Jung-hyun, Jang-hyun left his career as a singer due to the cannabis wave in 1975, transformed into a businessman, and emigrated to the United States.

Three songs by his sister duet Pearl Sisters, who became the singer king after a year of his debut, accompanied the enormous popularity and topic along with his appearance, are also included. <Ah-Nimah>, <Poor Lover>, and <Black Eyes> are all original songs by Shin Jung-hyun. In particular, <Ah-Nimah> is the follow-up song to <Nimah!>, which made the Pearl Sisters the king of singers at the 1969 MBC 10th Singer Awards in their debut album released in 1968. Due to the success story of the Pearl Sisters, this song was produced as a movie of the same name, “Ah Nimah,” and was used as a theme song. <Poor Lover> was released through this compilation album, but was differently marked as <Poor Woman> in the Pulsisters' solo album released in 1973. <Black Eyes> is a rare song by the Pulse Sisters found only in this album.

The most interesting singers and songs in this album are <The Woman in the Rain> which covers Edpo's original song by Nam Sang-gyu and <Nim is Far From>, which covers Kim Chuja's hit song. The two songs were first included in the album “Naomi in Kim Chuja's Dream” released in 1970 prior to this album. It would be a little surprising that Nam Sang-gyu, a popular singer who enjoyed the 60s with his savory low-pitched vocal power, took in Shin Shin Shin's original song. Nam Sang-gyu's <A Woman in the Rain> recorded as a band session gives an impression similar to the original version sung by Edpo's lead vocalist Seo Jeong-gil. It is interesting to compare Nam Sang-gyu and Kim Chu-ja's songs by telling the singing ability comparable to Kim Chu-ja in <You Are Far From>. Another song sung by Nam Sang-gyu is The Street, which is the work of ready-made composer Kim Young-kwang. The provocative cover photo of Kim Chu-ja and the songs of Nam Sang-gyu, which gave unexpected inspiration, became an attractive factor that the album was included in collectors' items. / Choi Gyu-seong, popular culture critic.

The pinnacle of this series, which was the biggest box office hit.

“Kim Chuja Stereo Hit Album,” produced as a series of three albums, as the title suggests, are albums that testify to the hot popularity of Kim Chuja. Interestingly, the first and second albums of this series were released on the same day on November 10, 1970. Even at the forefront of not knowing that the popularity was sky high, the release of two solo books on the same day is an unusual record that is not easy to find a precedent. From its appearance in 1969 until 1971, Kim Chu-ja gained the nickname "Dynamite" due to her passionate dance and singing ability, and released more than 10 albums in succession. The first album of this series was a remake of the famous trot songs, providing an opportunity to reach a wide audience. “Kim Chuja Stereo Heat Album No.2” released on the same day is the series' biggest hit. At that time, she swept through the singer awards presented in each newspaper broadcast. Shortly after this album was released, Kim Chu-ja also culminated in the MBC 10 Best Singer Awards ceremony in December 1970, winning the New Female Singer Award.

The largest hit album with more than 7 versions confirmed

Seven versions of this album have been confirmed so far. The image of the cover jacket for all versions is the same, but the version released on November 10, 1970 is the beginning. Initially, two versions were produced simultaneously, with a gatefold and a single jacket. Jaeban was released on January 11, 1971, two months later. As the sales accelerated with several hits, Samban was produced on February 1, 1971, only a month later. From the beginning to the third, all gatefold versions were identified. After that, on October 10, 1972, August 16, 1973, and April 2, 1975, the 4th, 5th, and 6th editions made with single jackets were confirmed, and a total of seven or more were released. This album is the biggest hit album that still has the most number among the numerous records of Chuja Kim.

Participation of various composers such as Shin Sin-hyun and Ahn Gil-woong

In the second album, a total of 10 songs were included as in the previous work. Unlike the first album, where the composer Rahwarang's photo was posted on the back of the album, the second album contains a picture of Shin Sin-hyun. Two songs by Shin Jung-hyun, such as <You Are Away> and <Leave a Memo>, were included, but the composer with the most songs in this album is Ahn Gil-woong, which contains four songs. In addition, <Freshness Observation> by Choi Chang-kwon, a famous composer for Yegreen Musical, <The Sound of Cherry Blossom> by Rahwarang, <Red Cactus> by Kang-Seop Kim, and <The Pureness of the Times> by Kim Bu-hae decorated the track list. Shin Jung-hyun's songs <You Are Away> and <Leave a Note> are hit songs released in June 1970, four months before this album. Rahwarang's <The Sound of Cherry Blossoms>, which can only be found in this album, is seen as a new song, <Red Cactus> is a remake of Kim Sang-hee, and <The Innocent of Time> is a remake of Park Shin-ja's hit song

Contemporary Kim Chu-ja's several hits

This album contains several hit songs of Kim Chu-ja, loved by the public at the same time. Ahn Gil-woong's new song <Walking in the Rain>, which opens the door of the album, is a special appearance with Lee Mi-ja, Patty-Kim, Na Hoon-ah, BongBongsa Choir, and the Pulse Sisters in the national film ``Tomorrow's Paldogangsan 3,'' released in 1971 by director Kang Dae-cheol. Is a big hit song that was sung in the movie. The rare appearance in the movie of 19-year-old Kim Choo-ja, who dances and sings lively with her cute appearance, is the only color image of the 70s that allows you to see her dancing early in her debut. The original version of Shin Jung-hyeon's song <Leave A Note Only>, with a calm atmosphere, starting with Moog and guitar solo Jeonju, was re-recorded.

The title track on the second side, Shin Jung-hyun's song <Away from You>, is the theme song for the weekend drama of TBC (Oriental) TV, and was later involved in copyright lawsuits. Originally, Patty Kim was the singer who was chosen to take this song, but there is a story that Kim Chu-ja took as a pinch and made a hit. In 1984, 14 years later, Patty Kim's belated blowing of this song seems to have expressed her regret at the time. This album contains a re-recorded version, not the original version. In the original version, Kim Chuja's song starts right away without a prelude, and this album contains a complete version that starts the song after the start of Jeonju. In addition, the female chorus that did not stand out in the original version is also different in that the chorus part is clearly added in this album version.

The new folk song <Obongsan Taryeong> gives her an exciting impression, befitting the roots of Kim Chu-ja, who originally sang chang and folk songs. <First Love Tears>, which was re-published on the album of Kim Chuja's pop song in 1973, causing confusion, is marked as Ahn Gil-woong in this album. The cheerful rhythmic <Sound of Cherry Blossoms> recorded a calming hit after the album was released. <Red Cactus> is the original hit singer Kim Sang-hee, who played an active part in the Shin Joonghyun Division, following <The Big Baby in Ulsan> in the previous work. The hugely hit <The Innocent of the Times> summoned the original song singer Park Shin-ja, but was banned because it was decadent. Ahn Gil-woong's song <Night Road>, which is found only in this album, seems to be a new song.

Photo of Kim Chuja's hand gestures, the epicenter of the spy theory

Kim Chuja, who hit the country in 1971, is evaluated as a symbolic song of metaphorical criticism of the Yushin administration. The military regime, which felt burdened by the song, was yoked with bans for being “promoting distrust”. At the time, Kim Chuja, who was tired from the heavy schedule, had frequent broadcast punks. Every time she said,'She moved,' and rumors began to circulate to her who had a hard time contacting her, saying, "I move often like a spy." Eventually, it was inflated with the absurd content of'discovering the random checks used by spies' and'The gestures you take when you sing'It's a Lie' are cryptographic transmissions with the drummer. The sensational popularity of the popeye painting of a bag of ramen land at the time was also confused with the theory of spies in 1971 to the extent that rumors related to North Korea were raised. Kim Chu-ja, who was reclusive in her hometown Chuncheon without knowing that she was a spy, clarified her innocence to her nephew's "Aunt, spy?" and prevented the spread of her situation. This album became a hot topic for a long time as the ‘Kim Chu-ja spy story’ rumors bitten the tail in 1971, when the photo of her hand gestures adorned the album cover became the epicenter of being inflated with “a password transmission with North Korea”.

Google Translate: "King Record's Park Sung-bae, known as King Park, is a legendary producer who has produced numerous alums recorded in Korean popular music history. He was sensitive to the new genre of music favored by young people of the time since the sixties, when a large number of Western music genres were introduced. This rereleased compilation album '71 King Hit Album VOL.1 'is the first work of the series compilation album released in 1971 and 1975 when King Park's plan was released. Along with this album, the 71st release hit collection was also released by King Record's hit compilation album. At the time, new genres of songs and hits were covered and loved a lot, but because of the pain of the prohibition and indifferent years, they are now rarely available. Where the ``71 Transportation Hit Collection'' is a collection of folk songs by Yang Hee Eun, Seo Yoo Seok, Twin Folio, Shegrin, Shin Joo Hyun, and Trio Hapanis, the King Hit Album series is a popular pop, rock and soul series. The songs of the singers are included. In particular, the songs of the disciplinary artists are included, which adds value.

Re-released almost half a century later, the 71 King Hit Album VOL.1 opens its doors with a playful discretionary song of the late sexy icon Kim Chu-ja. Her song contains one more song, “Tears of First Love.” The biggest hit in 1971, Lie, was interpreted as a metaphorical criticism of a regime that encouraged a disbelief, such as the jewel case. The burdened military regime banned the song on the grounds of "promoting a disbelief." In particular, Kim Chu-ja, who showed her unique dance movement when she sang this song, was caught up in espionage. Suspicion has been raised that the distinctive gesture that points to the air is the "signal with North Korea." Later, for some reason, Choo Choo struck a broadcast schedule several times, saying, “I move frequently like a spy.” “I found a random number used by a spy at home.”

In addition to Kim Choo-ja, two songs, 'No' and 'Nim Ah', are also included in the song of the most popular girl group, the Pearl Sisters, who provided Shingi Hyun with the power to build a division. Kim Sang-hee's song, which was recruited into the Discreet Presidency instead of the blanks of the Pearl Sisters, also includes two songs, 'Naomi in Dreams' and 'How Do'. Lim Ah-young's song, which is said to have been the most regrettable short-lived activity, was also selected by 'Dried Leaves' and 'Fusty'. The songs of Kim Chu-ja, Pearl Sisters, Kim Sang-hee, and Lim Ah-young on this album represent their popularity and status. In addition to <Coffee Cup>, <Nim Ah!> Is the mega hit song of the time that led the Pearl Sisters to be the king of singers for the first time in the Korean girl group and even made a movie of the same name. The discreet song <How to Do>, which proves that Kim Sang-hee was a psychedelic female singer, is a topic song that suffered from Gu Sul-soo because of the title and lyrics. The problem was the wicked men who lyricized the lyrics as lie down. As the lyrical song became popular, the song was banned from broadcasting on the grounds of the "window slow." Shin Ji-hyun's songs <Fitness> and <Dry Leaf> are familiar with Jang Hyun's songs. In fact, the original singer was Lim Ah-young (real name Choi Hyun-kyung), the legendary female singer of Shin Ji-hyun's division. In addition, Rosari's <How to Do> is a debut song that uses open, attractive high-frequency huskies. Rosary rose to stardom with the song's Big Hit in 1970 with the TBC Newcomer's Award. The sister girl groups Yuri Sisters and Moon Jung Sun debuted in 1971 with the same album and became a stardom. Yuri Sisters' debut song Dream Tree was a popular theme song for KBS TV with the same name. Moon Jung-sun, who was loved with a cool tone, was a popular singer who enjoyed the 70s with hits such as Pacho's Dream, Barley Field, Aura Aura, and My Song. Osaseza, who sang the last song on the front page, was a new singer who had been expecting King Park by decorating a split album with Kim Choo before the compilation album in 1971. This song is a remake, not the original song of Oceza. Unlike the elegant tone of the original singer Cho Ae-hee who first sang this song in 1968, and Jung Hoon-hee's cute and sexy creation that remakeed and hit in 1970, Oseza's powerful creation is understated.

71 King Hit Album VOL.1 'is a hit that has been re-released so that three versions are mixed. The first album was a black-and-white photograph of a long-haired woman who had a polka dot atmosphere released on September 1, 1971. This album is the rarest of the three versions. Jaeban is decorated with Rolling Stones' album 'Sticky Fingers' album jacket, which was a great deal at the time, along with photos of Pearl Sisters, Rose Lee, Kim Sang-hee, Kim A-young, and Moon Jung-sun. The final version is a recording that has been redesigned with Kim Chu-ja's dancing photos. The LP version, which was re-released this time, was released in 1971 with the most colorful design of the popular singers who were loved by the young generation at that time.Encouraged by the hit of the first album, King Records quickly released the second album just a month later.

Google Translate: "The 1970s was a time when singers and groups of the folk and rock genres challenged the mainstream music Trot and Pop. The new wave genres that led the new trends were Kim Min-ki, Seo Yoo-seok, Han Dae-soo, Lee Jung-sun, Park In-hee, Eun-hee, Yang Hee-eun, Lee Yeon-sil and Jung Tae-chun, and folk singers and bands, K-Keys, Devils, He6, Tempest, Black Young generations who were enthusiastic about rock music, led by butterflies, love & peace, and mountain forests, drove the older generations to the back room, slowly leading the consumption of the Korean pop music industry. We call the hot air and the wind of change the youth culture.

Starting with the YWCA tree frog performance in Myeong-dong, Seoul, which opened in 1970, Korean folk creative song movements began in earnest through submarines carrying millstones, sunflowers and sparrows. Kim Min-gi and Yang Hee-eun, who were produced through the tree frog performances, led the spirit of the times by publishing their first album in 1971. Lee Yong-bok, who exhibited various musical talents such as folk, soul, and pop, showed his presence through the tree frog performance and opened the history of Korean visually impaired singer in 1971. In addition, the success of Lee Pil Won and Park In Hee's Toi et Moi (Tua Emua) at the same time as the mixed fork duet epoch was the driving force behind successive folk singers such as Lana Aerospo and One Plus One. It became a reality.

In the Rock, Soul, and Psychedelic genres, Shin Jung-hyun, who emerged as the debut album of the Pearl Sisters in 1968, unearthed a number of prominent singers including Kim Chu-ja, Park In-soo, Lim A-young, Kim Sang-hee, Kim Jung-mi, Barney Girls, and Jang Hyun until 1971. Started to run in earnest. Key voices produced through various group sound contests. Many bands such as He6 and Devils also raised their mood with their album releases. The pop genre, which has already secured stakes and areas, is a hit parade with numerous new artists, Rose Lee, Lee Hyun, Moon Jung-sun, Lee Seok, and Lee Seong-ae, led by Chung Hoon-hee, who won the first overseas singer award in the 1970s. Classics.

Nowadays, the general public who enjoys music mainly on hits tends to prefer the best albums, which are composed of hits of several singers, rather than a compilation of songs by one singer. The best album, which includes several hits from several artists, has been recognized since the 1960s for its commercial impact. The series albums released among the best albums can be regarded as a hit product that was most favored by the public at that time. In the '60s, the series compilation album, which only remained in the realm of trot and pop, expanded into folk and rock in the' 70s. The production of a series compilation album of pop, rock, and folk, rather than the trot, favored by older generations, is made up of numerous bands and singers produced through various group sounds and folk contests that have influenced the Eighth Army and the young generation. It was possible because they had a workforce infrastructure such as Altoran.

The folk and pop omnibus series albums were a hot trend in the early seventies. In 1971, the two re-released "King's Album" and the "Singing Night Series" attracted the youth generation. Through the Star Night series, which was released to the 5th album, major first-generation folk singers including Song Chang-sik, Seo Yoo-seok, Yoon Hyung-ju, Kim Se-hwan, Lee Jang-hee, Hong Min, Seok-chan, and Tu-Ace, Pop bands such as Hanwoong, soul singers, and rock bands such as K-Voice have gained popularity by gaining popularity.

Encouraged by the hit of the "71 King Hit Album VOL.1" released in September 1971, King Record released the follow-up "King Stereo Hit Album Vol.2" in a month. Unlike previous works, this album appealed to young people with the trendy phrase of the day, “Stereo.” The protagonist of the album cover was decorated with Kim Chu-ja. This proves that she was a blue chip of the Korean pop music industry that guarantees popularity in 1971. The second door is followed by Kim Chu-ja's <You Are A Fool> following his previous work. Unlike the previous film, which had two artists who recorded two songs, the solo singer who recorded two songs in this album is Lee Jung-hwa, who was the lead vocal of the discreet Hyun Yang Dunkys. The album features the original version of the famous discreet chord "Spring Rain" and "No". In addition to his previous works, Pearl Sisters' First Love, Lim Ah-young's discreet song <Oh Believe>, and Moon Jung-sun's <Sister's Heart> were also published. The discreet song <Hello> by Park Soon, the godfather of Korean Soul, and the hit song <Wait for me> by Jang Hyun, the most popular singer of the discretionary saga (?), were included in the second book.

The 2nd album is distinguished from the previous work by the fact that the group's songs are greatly increased to 5 songs. In addition to the Pearl Sisters, who became the singer king, He Six's Grassland, Mary's Wheeling So Good, Brilliant Morning Starlight, and Trio Hapanis's discreet string, The Woman in the Rain. Hisix was a popular band of the day and Echozine was renamed after the men's quartet Johnny Brothers reunited after the team disbanded. Trio Hapanis, a mixed Latin group from Japan, unfamiliar to the Korean public, released a solo song in Korean in 1971. In addition to rare collections, their songs can only be listened to on the 71st Hit Collection and this album. The song of Trio Hapanis in this album is <The Woman in the Rain>, which was the title song of the band Edpo's collection composed by Shin Jung Hyun.

Since 1972, after two consecutive releases of the King Hit Album, the Young Festival of Universal Records and the Folk and Pop Festivals of Oasis Records have been in the limelight. The flow of folk and pop boomed up to the mid 70s, and the youth culture culminated with explosive reactions to young people with the collections of music studios Cherbourg's planned works and various folk and pop series omnibus albums. After the album, King's Hit Album series was discontinued for a while with King Park focusing on the production of Shin Ji-hyun and Kim Chu-ja, and it was released in 1975. The album is a rare album that contains the legendary Kim Jung-mi and Shin Ji-hyun's songs, so look forward to it again."

"In the re-released LP market, which was released mainly for solo albums, which are evaluated as alums, compilation albums containing hits and masterpieces of various singers have recently been in the spotlight. In fact, compilation albums, such as a comprehensive gift set, were regarded as a blue chip that guaranteed a hit even in the 60s and 70s. At that time, it was a time when box office success was prioritized over solo works where singers and musicians had priority, so it was a natural phenomenon.

The model decorating the cover of the compilation album served as a kind of face madam. So, it was a kind of formula to decorate with photos of singers most favored by the public of the day among singers containing songs. King Park, president of King Records, said the choice of cover model was always concentrated in Kim Chu-ja. Since its appearance, it has been a news maker whose excellent singing skills, sexy looks, and every step of the way have been a hot topic, so there would have been no hesitation in choosing. The LP, decorated with Kim Chuja's cover model, is still a collector's item that collectors prefer.

In fact, the cover photo of this album is said to be the sexiest image among the albums released by Kim Chuja.

The song that opens the door of the album is Kim Chuja's <Good Night Baby> with the cover. A total of 3 songs were included in Kim Chuja's song, but Shin Jung-hyun's song is only one song from <The foster daughter>. The title song <Good Night Baby>, which was first released through this album, was written by composer Kang-seop Kim, and <The Blunt Person> was written by Ahn Ki-woong. In this album, <Good Night Baby> was marked as Kim Kang-seop's original song, but it was delayed due to the fact that the English'Good Night Baby' was specified on the cover and the fact that it was marked as an arranger rather than a composer in'Kim Chuja Drex Album' released a month later. It is likely to be. When I searched YouTube, it seems clear that the original song from The King Tones, a male corps corps in Japan in the 60s, is the original. There are other versions of this song sung by Won Se-Hwi in 1973. Anyway, the composition of the songs alone tells us that at the time this album was released, Kim Chu-ja began to widen the music radius by working with various composers outside the fence of the Shin Joong-hyun division.

Janghyun, who appeared after him, was the most popular singer representing the Shin Junghyun Division along with Kim Chuja. Jang Hyun's <Wait for me>, <No news is good news>, and <Woman in the Mist> were all songs that received good responses from his debut album released in 1970, a year earlier. He was remembered as an excellent low-pitched singer who digested Shin Jung-hyun's ever-changing rock music with his own vocal style, who used a slow soul-style singing technique. However, just like Shin Jung-hyun, Jang-hyun emigrated to the United States after ending her career as a singer due to the cannabis wave in 1975 and transforming into a businessman.

It contains three songs by the pro-sister duet, the Pulse Sisters, who became the singer king after a year of their debut and accompanied by tremendous popularity and topic. Due to the success story of the Pulsisters, this song was produced as a movie of the same name, “Ah Nimah,” and used as a theme song. <Poor Lover> was released through this compilation album, but in the Pulsisters solo book released in 1973, it was marked differently as <Poor Woman>. <Black Eyes> is a rare song by the Pulse Sisters found only in this album.

The most interesting singers and songs in this album are <The Woman in the Rain>, which covers the original song of Edpo, sung by Nam Sang-gyu, and <Nim is Far,> which covers the hit song of Kim Chuja. The two songs were first included in the album “Naomi in Kim Chuja's Dream” released in 1970 prior to this album. It would be somewhat surprising that the popular singer Nam Sang-gyu, who had enjoyed the 60s with his savory low-pitched vocal power, took in Shin Shin Shin's original song. Nam Sang-gyu's <The Woman in the Rain> recorded as a band session gives an impression similar to the original version sung by Edpo's lead vocalist Seo Jeong-gil. The provocative cover photo of Kim Chu-ja and the songs of Nam Sang-gyu, which gave unexpected inspiration, became an attractive factor in the collection of this album in collectors' items. "

Kim Chuja-Kim Chuja and Black Butterfly [LP] [180g/insert, insert sticker postcard]Shin Joong-Hyun/Kim Chuja, Choi Heon-song/Black Butterfly Band | Old Media / Old Media | May 26, 2020

Album introduction 180g Virgin Vinyl Japan Eastern Chemical Pressing Including inserts, stickers, and bromide

In any era, the singing and collaboration that popular singers try together has attracted the attention of fans and brings musical enjoyment. In the popular music industry in the 1970s, a fresh attempt by famous male and female singers to sing each other's hit songs drew attention from the contemporary public. Even now, such attempts on TV and performances are not boring, but the official album record left as a concept album was started by Na Hoon-ah and Jo Mi-mi. After the release of the album in 1972, the two succeeded in hitting the box office, causing a topic of scandal. Inspired by the reaction that exceeded expectations, Na Hoon-ah also released a series of song-changing albums with Lee Su-mi, a popular female singer of the time.

Kim Chuja, the best female singer of the Shin Joonghyun Division, was one of the best female vocalists in the 1970s, recognized by Jata to the extent that the tubular word “cigarette is celadon and song is chuja” became popular. Choi Heon, who played an active part in Black Butterfly's lead vocalist, was added to her cool singing ability, which she exudes with her sexy gestures and abundant volume. It was a fantastic combination. Heon Choi, whose unique husky tone was attractive, was one of the best male vocalists of the time, who became independent as a solo singer after this project album and became the singer king at TBC and MBC in 1978.

The album, which was re-released in the original LP format after 45 years, was released in March 1975, when Kim Chu-ja reached its peak before being banned from activity due to the cannabis wave. The meeting itself of the best male and female rock vocalists of the time is interesting, but this album is valuable in that it is the only record record in which the legendary female singer Kim Chuja of the 70s attempted a mixed duet with a male singer. Most of the songs included are composed of Kim Chu-ja's hit songs composed by Shin Joong-hyun, and the fact that the album cover image is concentrated on the passionate aspects of Kim Chu-ja proves the status of Kim Chu-ja at the time.

All spotlights are set for Kim Chu-ja, but the value of Choi Heon, who has raised the value and charm of this album to the fullest, cannot be ignored. The band Black Butterfly also added flavor to this album with a sophisticated and sensational performance and singing chorus. It will be fun to compare and listen to the differences between the performances of the band Shin Sin-hyun led and the most popular band of the time, Black Butterfly. Except for Choi Heon's hit song <You Don't Know> during Hisics, all the songs included are works by Shin Shin-hyun. On the jacket, the composer of <You Don't Know> was written as'Kim Seung-tak', which is a typo in'Kim Hong-tak'.

Page 1 consists only of Kim Chuja's songs. In <My Heart is Beautiful>, which opens the door of the album, a black butterfly participated in the chorus. Following that, Kim Jung-mi's <Lonely Heart> and <No>, and Jang Hyun's <Regret> and <Dry Leaves> completely transformed into Kim Chuja style. On the second side, Kim Chu-ja's remake of <If You Should Forget> and <Remembrance> by Kim Jung-mi and <One Cup of Coffee> by The Pulse Sisters is the best part. Unlike those of the familiar Pulsisters, the arrangement and performance of Black Butterfly with brass sessions, and the recitations of the chorus and the charismatic experimentation of Kim Chu-ja arouse admiration. It is not unreasonable to say that all of them contain the best singing skills that Kim Chuja sang during her heyday.

The most notable track in the album is the medley composed of the hit songs of Kim Chuza and Choi Heon, which are placed on page B. The best rock male and female vocalists of the time, Kim Chu-ja and Choi Heon, boast a fantastic chemistry with the rich performance of the band Black Butterfly. This album maximizes the enjoyment of appreciation by the mixed duet part of <I don't like>, which is the original song by Dunkis' Lee Jung-hwa, followed by Choi Heon's <You Are Far From> and Kim Chuja's <You Don't Know>. It is the highlight of

This project album, which contains a fantastic combination, has not received public light. This is because it became an album of dead luck, who could not reach the wide public like Shin Jung-hyun and Kim Chu-ja, whose activities were shackled by the cannabis wave. The regret of the ban is clear enough that the pirates were secretly released, but this album, which was accompanied by two top singers and singers, has been talked about as a rare alum for a long time, with word of mouth among music lovers.

It seems that the re-release is too late, so close to half a century has passed, but I hope that the wonderful musical attempts made by Korean popular music in the 1970s will bring joy to many music lovers. / Choi Gyu-seong, popular culture critic.

"This is the 3rd album that completes the'Kim Chuja Stereo Heat Album' series produced with trilogy. Kim Chuja's hot popularity, confirmed through her previous works, did not cool down in this album as well. There are two versions of this album with different cover designs, like various versions of previous works that prove to be a box office blue chip. The full body picture of Kim Chuja, who decorated the two versions of the cover, is the same. However, the pale purple version with a large design of “KIM” in the English name and the wine-colored version with a small English name and a large album title were produced with different designs. As for the previous works, it was not easy to judge which version was the first, so it is not easy to judge which album out of the two versions was released first. All were released on June 1, 1971, and the label is dark gray and the same.

literal translation : "There is a possibility that the burgundy version, which has a relatively larger number of populations than the pale purple version consisting of a three-colored border design, and the design is refined, is a reconsideration. On the other hand, the official website of Kim Chuja introduces the burgundy version in the beginning and the second half, and the purple version in the third half. Since the release date was marked as August 5, 1971, it seems that the existence of the first version released on June 1 could not be confirmed. Anyway, since the release on June 1, the purple version was made additionally on August 5, just two months later, so this album also testifies to the heyday of Kim Chu-ja. This re-released version was adopted as a wine-colored version with relatively excellent visual effects.

Produced with the best album personality.

The three films, containing a total of 10 songs, have a strong character of the best album composed of hit songs by Kim Chu-ja, which was loved by the public from 1970 to the first half of 1971. The title track on the first page, <Heart is Gypsy>, <Hello Youth>, and <Naomi in Dreams> are all pop song adaptations. The original song of the title song <Heart is Gypsy> is sung by Nicola Di Bari and Nada, the winners of the Sanremo Song Festival in Italy in 1971. This song is not the first singer Kim Chu-ja changed. Beginning with Han Sang-il in 1970, girl singer Ji-sook and Pulsisters first took in. In this album, at the same time following Kim Chuja, Jung Hoon-hee joined the ranks of Bun-an, followed by visually impaired singers Lee Yong-bok and Choi Dong-gil. The version of Kim Chu-ja, compared to the version of Lee Yong-bok, which recorded a big hit, was also widely known as being featured on her numerous albums afterwards.

<Hello Youth> is the original song by Kanzone, and the original song of <Naomi in Dreams> is sung by the Israeli mixed duet headbar Hedva and David, who won the grand prize at the 1st Tokyo International Song Festival in 1970. <Naomi in a Dream> was first revised and hit by Kim Chu-ja in 1970, followed by Sunwoo Young-ah and Jung Hoon-hee in 1971 as a slightly different title, <Naomi's Dream>. Interestingly, it was written as <Naomi's Dream> on the front of this album's jacket, but written as <Naomi in a Dream> on the back track list. It seems to be a mistake because it is postponed to the point marked <Naomi in a dream> on the label.

The original song by Dunkis' female vocalist Lee Jung-hwa, <Flower Leaf>, was first recorded on the OST album of the drama coachman released in February 1971 prior to this album, followed by Kim Chuja on the Drex album. <The Lost Vacation>, written by Kim Kang-seop, was revised in 1973 on Kim Chuja's pop song album. The first song on page 2, Shin Jung-hyun's song <The Horseman>, re-recorded the theme song for the drama of the 1971 Asian TV drama. There is no credit mark for <Birth Beating in the Wind>, but it is only included in this album. Kim Kang-seop's <Jahagol Mitouri> was first released on the album on April 15, 1971, two months earlier than this album. <The Big Baby in Ulsan> re-recorded the song from the first part of this series, released in November 1970. The ending song <Love is a Dream>, which marks the end of the album, is a song by Kim Bu-hae, a composer found only in this album among Kim Chu-ja's numerous albums.

Successful communication with the wide public

The “Kim Chuja Stereo Hit Album” series contains the production intention of Kim Chuja to escape from Shin Jung-Hyun’s confines and reach a wide audience. In fact, the first part of this series was special in that it contained the first attempt by Kim Chu-ja, who had previously sung mostly songs by Shin Jung-hyun, to intentionally take only songs by famous and established composers of the time. Two of the three series albums, which recorded the most hits, included two songs from Shin Jung-hyeon, which received great attention in the public along with established composers. Due to the value of existence that confirmed the myth of unsuccessful box office success, Shin Sin-Hyun's songs in the third episode included <Petal> and <The Horseman>. Like this, although not completely out of the shadow of Shin Joong-hyun, these series albums have produced an achievement like Altoran that successfully captures Kim Chu-ja's attempt to communicate with the wide public.
